It’s not Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, and it’s not Little Shop of Horrors. Heck, it’s not even the Venus Fly Trap. It’s another example of truth being stranger than fiction.
Mental Floss has the story of 3 plants on the attack. In the words of the internet: #2 will shock you!! (The dark side of green beans. Who knew?)
It’s worth the read, but check out the last one here, the Roridula Goronias. You want weird? This is weird. All the little black specks you see in the picture? They’re trapped insects (you almost want one of these for the camper, right?) But, Roridula can’t actually eat the bugs it catches. So it kindly hosts another little bug on its leaves which eats the prey and then shares it, using the… well, the old fertilizer method, if you catch my drift.
